Services
You're doing everything right. You just don't want to do it alone.
You have a doctor. You have a birth plan. You've done the reading. But there's still a nagging feeling: What if something happens and I don't know what to do? What if I'm not heard?
That's exactly what Dr. Doula is here for.
Here's how it works.
Every Dr. Doula client receives one comprehensive package of support from the second trimester through the postpartum period. No confusing tiers. No add-ons. Just one trusted guide committed to you.
The Process
One comprehensive package of support.
Complimentary Consultation
We start with a no-obligation conversation to learn about your hopes, concerns, and expectations, and to make sure we're the right fit for each other.
Prenatal Support (2 Visits)
Together, we develop your birth plan, walk through hospital protocols, and prepare for the scenarios that might come up, so nothing feels like a surprise when labor begins. Dr. Doula will accompany clients to one OB/GYN visit as part of prenatal support.
On-Call Support (Starting at ~38 Weeks)
Beginning in your late third trimester, Dr. Doula is available to you 24/7. Whether it's a question at midnight or the first sign that labor has started, you won't be wondering who to call.
Labor & Delivery Support
Once you're admitted to the hospital, Dr. Doula joins you and stays by your side through delivery. She provides continuous emotional support, comfort measures, and clear explanations of what's happening, so you can focus on bringing your baby into the world.
Postpartum Care (1–2 Visits)
After the birth, Dr. Doula checks in on your recovery, feeding, and emotional wellbeing. Because her commitment to you doesn't end the moment the baby arrives.
What this is; and what it isn't.
Dr. Doula provides non-medical birth support. She is not a replacement for your OB-GYN or midwife; all clients are required to have a separate physician or midwife managing their prenatal care. Her role is to complement your medical team, not replace them.
What she provides is the layer of support most families wish they had sooner: someone who understands the medical side and is 100% focused on your experience.
